What is the process and How long?
2.5-Hour Mosaic Lamp Workshop – Class Overview
Get ready for a fun and fulfilling creative experience! Here's a brief outline of what to expect during your mosaic lamp workshop:
Step 1: Design Your Pattern (First 20 Minutes)
Start by choosing a design from our templates or let your imagination guide you to create a unique mosaic pattern.
Step 2: Apply the Glue & Begin Your Lamp (1 Hour)
Apply glue to the glass globe and carefully begin transferring your mosaic design.
Enjoy complimentary tea and cookies as you work!
Step 3: Add the Beads & Complete the Design (1 Hour)
Finish your masterpiece by placing beads to fill in the gaps between the mosaic pieces, adding texture and sparkle.
Take-Home Kit
After completing your mosaic, you’ll take home your beautifully designed lamp, along with:
Final Touch: Grouting at Home
Complete the plastering/grouting step at home using the provided materials. Please allow up to 12 hours for proper drying.
Not only will you leave with a stunning handcrafted lamp, but also with warm memories and a deeper appreciation for Turkish mosaic art.
What is the cost?
The cost of the workshop ranges from $69 to $159, depending on the type of lamp you choose.
For example, if you select a table lamp, the total cost will be $69 + HST.
This price includes the workshop session and all necessary materials—there are no hidden fees.
You’ll also have the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade your lamp choice when you arrive at the workshop.
Do we need to bring any materials?
No, everything will be provided at the workshop.
Is prior experience required?
No, we will guide you through the process.
Any age limit?
Ages 8+ can do this.
My item arrived broken. What steps should I take?
We take great care in packaging and shipping our items, but on rare occasions, damage can occur during transit. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us by sending a message through our contact page.
Do I get to keep my lamp after the workshop?
Yes, it will be yours to keep forever.
Does the package include the bulb?
Yes, everything you need is included in the package.
How many workshop sessions am I required to attend?
You’ll complete your lamp design in just one workshop and can start using it the same day.
Why isn’t the plastering done at the workshop?
Because the glue we use at the workshop needs at least 7 to 12 hours to dry.
Am I allowed to create my own design, or must I follow the instructor's guidelines?
Absolutely! You're free to create any design you like.
Is this powered by electricity?
Yes, except for the candle holder, all the lamps use small low-voltage bulbs. The electrical components come pre-assembled, so no additional setup is required.
